It is a core institution for centralized monitoring and command of urban gas pipe networks. Its core objectives are to balance gas supply and demand, ensure safe supply, and maintain optimal working conditions and economical operation. Its core responsibilities include: operation monitoring and scheduling — collecting parameters of gas sources, transmission & distribution and user terminals, acquiring and monitoring equipment operating status via IoT sensing devices, and optimizing scheduling plans; coordinating emergency command for maintenance, repair and accident handling, and allocating emergency resources; integrating the original SCADA system, pipeline GIS system, video monitoring system, etc., to ensure the safe and smart operation of the pipe network.
